Internet Social Media is becoming like the .dot com boom of the 21st century. According to a recent iProspect study, “social networking sites are visited at least on a monthly basis by about 25% of the U.S. adult online population.” Whether these sites are considered only as one way communication, or as truly a collaborative effort to search out individuals that have the same interests as you do, the travel industry must take hold of this widespread initiative and embrace it.
